CAPO VATICANO
Capo Vaticano is an incredible place situated along the Costa degli Dei: it is a real piece of the Mediterranean waiting to be discovered. It contains wonderful beaches, perfect for scuba diving thanks to the clear waters abounding in marine life. The locality is one of the most popular in Calabria: from its centre, situated at an altitude of 124 metres, it is possible to admire spectacular maritime panoramas.
At Capo Vaticano, there are unmissable beaches such as Grotticelle (located only 200 meters from our hotel) and Santa Maria Lauretana (1 km from the hotel). The lighthouse of Capo Vaticano, reachable via a panoramic path, 100 meters above sea level, is absolutely essential. The view from here is priceless!
If you want to see the entire coast, you definitely must follow the path that will take you to the Belvedere of Capo Vaticano, a truly magical lookout point.

TROPEA AND PIZZO, THE TWO TYRRHENIAN JEWELS
Tropea is another wonderful location just a few kilometres from Capo Vaticano. It is fitted with a rocky profile that slopes down to the sea and a historical centre full of interesting sights. The beaches need no introduction; the most famous are the Spiaggia del Cannone and the Spiaggia della Rotonda, real unspoilt stretches of water. During the summer, it is also the centre of folkloristic events, patronal festivals and the Tropea Blues.
Pizzo is a hamlet of medieval origin, included within the Costa degli Dei. The town is worth a visit thanks to its streets that offer pleasant views as well as the chance to admire monuments of the Baroque period such as the Chiesa Matrice di San Giorgio and the Murat Castle of Pizzo. The last addition to the castle is a cylindrical tower built in memory of Joachim Murat who was first imprisoned in the castle and then shot. To finish the tour visit the small church of Piedigrotta, entirely carved into the tufa rock by the beach. Absolutely worth tasting, is the Tartufo of Pizzo, the typical ice cream of the area!

Zungri- Caves of the Sbariati
In Zungri, you will find a suggestive and unique place: the Caves of the Sbariati. It is a village built entirely out of sandstone, centuries old, erected by a group of monks fleeing from their village of origin. The settlement occupies an area of about 3000 m²; it is considered to be a unique occurrence in all of Calabria. A museum with ancient finds is also housed here.
Bagnara Calabra and Scilla
Bagnara Calabra is located inside the Costa Viola, in a cove among hills overlooking the sea. Here the beaches are wonderful, embellished with natural caves. Not to be missed, during a boat trip, the Grotta del Monaco and the Grotta delle Rondini. Bagnara Calabra is also known as the home of nougat. Still produced according to the ancient tradition of the first artisan nougat factories built near Bagnara, nougat is one of the most appreciated Calabrian sweets around the world.
Scilla is a town that is rightfully included among the most beautiful villages in Italy. This village also rises above the sea and its waters lap the houses. Worth seeing is Ruffo Castle, from which you can enjoy a unique view of the Aeolian Islands.

The city of the Riace Bronzes is a place not to be missed. Here you will find the National Museum of the Magra Grecia, which preserves very significant historical finds, such as the famous Bronzes. During a stroll in the centre, you can admire the baroque style palaces and the promenade, described by Gabriele D'Annunzio as "the most beautiful km in Italy".
